Our home and community services assist seniors and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes. Clients can customise a package to suit their needs and circumstances.

Our services include:-

• Walking dogs
• Household cleaning
• Clothes washing
• Social support

Our community access services enable clients to participate in the wider community. One of our caring support workers will drive and accompany you to your desired community activity or public venue.

Places and activities we accompany clients to include:-

• Medical appointments
• Shopping centres
• Hairdressing, podiatry and beauty salons
• Job interviews
• Sporting activities
• Entertainment venues (excluding licensed premises)
• Places of interest, such as Australian War Memorial
• Social gatherings

Our personal care services are delivered with discretion and empathy. Our support workers will ensure that your personal hygiene and appearance needs are taken care of on a regular basis.

We assist clients with:-

• Bathing
• Visiting the toilet
• Dressing (morning and evening)
• Makeup
• Tidying hair
• Cutting nails
• Shaving
• Changing continence pads and emptying medical aids

Our professional support workers follow government regulations in relation to medication assistance and delivery. We can assist with the delivery of some medicines, and also ensure that medication is taken on time.

We assist with delivering the following medication types:

• Oral medications
• Topical creams and lotions
• Inhalant medications
• Suppositories
• Eye and ear drops

Please note that our support workers only administer prescribed medications that are part of an authorised health treatment / care plan (one devised by a medical professional). Our staff do not provide or administer intravenous injections.

Kapital Care provides casual and fill-in carers on a short-term basis to give primary caregivers a break. It’s important that primary carers have “time out” to recharge and avoid burnout.

Our team provides social and workplace support services for both individuals and groups. If you’re struggling with life on your own, need someone to talk to, or have started a new job (as a disabled person), Kapital Care can assist.

We provide or organise:

• In-home visits
• Group social gatherings
• Workplace support services for employers, such as disability awareness training (usually funded under the Employment Assistance Fund)

Kapital Care has support workers that prepare meals on a scheduled basis. Our support workers can also collect food ingredients on your behalf and clean up the kitchen afterwards.

Our services include:

• Preparation of wholesome meals
• Physical assistance with feeding
• Kitchen clean-up and disposal of rubbish
• Food shopping (with or without the client)

Kapital Care has support workers available for approved sleepovers and wakeovers in private residences. Our support workers often fill in for primary carers requiring a break (respite).

Our service is ideal for:

• At-home palliative care patients
• Elderly clients with limited mobility
• Clients with health issues and disabilities requiring “around the clock” care

Kapital Care provides 24 x 7 care services for supported independent living (SIL) clients, as well as for clients living in their own home.

Our service is designed for:-

• Clients receiving NDIS funding for supported independent living (SIL)
• Non-SIL clients living in their own home
